I love when the crowd gets into the sing alongs. But what a kick it would be to have the sing along be "Big Balls" by AC/DC. It would be awesome to have a full house enthusiastically singing "But we have the biggest balls of them all"

I moved away to Alabama in the summer of 2010 so the last home game I attended was the '09 App St playoff game. Every time I hear Black Eyed Peas "I Got a Feeling", it brings me back to that amazing night. Always will be my fave, that and "Up With Montana" of course.

Hey! Baby would be killer with the Bruce Channel original booming over the big speakers instead of the band. Enough Neil Diamond schmaltz already....

I'd like to hear "Dead skunk in the middle of the road" when we play MSU. We could change it to "Dead Cat in the middle of the road"...... stinkin' to high heaven!

It will never happen but...

Jimmy Buffett
"Why don't we get drunk and screw."

A special one for the left wing UM crowd, Johnny Paycheck, "(Pardon Me), I've Got Someone to Kill."

30 odd years ago that douche bag was the opening act for Neil Young. We lined up three hours early, front of the stage, 16 years old with our first bottle of Jack. He got half way through "Take this job and shove it" before the rain of beer cans and abuse overwhelmed him and he bailed. Neil killed it with his whole "Harvest" album. Good if hazy memories.

Mismatching opening acts with the headliner is always a problem, especially when everything is late as it usually is. The crowd comes for the headliner and can get restless even if the opener is good. In about 1970 I went to a concert in Phoenix headlined by John Lee Hooker. The opening act was Procol Harum. The funeral music typical of the group was not what the crowd came for. Halfway through "A Whiter Shade of Pale" it turned to a near riot, so Hooker and supreme guitarist Luther Tucker and the band were rushed onto the stage and within a couple minutes the whole place boogiein', which is what they came to do.

Conversely, I saw Johnny Winter steal the show opening for George Thorogood (not an easy thing to do) about 25 years ago in PA, but later, more than once, I saw Johnny headlining, so wrecked someone had to keep him propped up.

For both the Cats and the griz, right after the 3rd quarter starts...."Think I'll just stay here and Drink". Of course this would be the sing-a-long out in the tailgates, not in the stadium.

I'm not a big Metallica fan... but this stadium intro (VA Tech) gives me goose bumps every time.
