Not sure who else is here in Bozeman but I've attended every Griz/Cat game since 1991 and this one was beyond weird. By the way, I've always been treated with respect here...didn't buy a drink last night at the Rocking R and people today were gracious. Some thoughts and a few questions asked me from Cats fans. The Griz walked onto the field from their "tent" to start the game with zero emotion. I said "walked" and I've never witnessed a team display that lack of emotion. I was asked by Cats fans tonight at Teds why Bergen didn't touch the ball or why Simpson didn't play in the first quarter. Honestly didn't recognize Simpsons absence. They were baffled that we didn't attack their corners and didn't force the QBs to throw. By the way, whoever thought it was good idea to have the Griz redshirts stand in front of the Cat's students waiting for the team to come out at halftime should be fired. Though, the redshirt who wears number 17 showed way more fire than the 17 that was on the field. Several students were escorted out after throwing snow on the heads of the players.
