So I know they don't actually televise the game but do the announcers get to watch the game and maybe report it later ??

They’ll be wheels up before kickoff.

Pretty sad really that there will be a 3 hour commercial on the BOTW but then if anyone wants to actually see the game they need espn plus (outside of MT). Makes no sense

I mean it does make sense, ESPN+ is pretty attainable and as big as this game is its not the go to game this weekend

They will show highlights on College Football Final late Saturday night on ESPN2. Probably SportsCenter too since it was the GameDay game.

ESPN+ provides way more exposure than at any time in the past... watching the Griz has certainly become a lot more accessible than trying to hunt down a bar and then trying to convince them that they should tune it on their satellite...

How many here don’t have ESPN+?

I am tasked to cut the cord at present. I am of the opinion that this is happening more on the west coast than it is most other places. This is something that I’m musing over because it’s- possibly- more viable for the Pac-12/10/whatever to go exclusive streaming with Apple than to take the scraps ESPN is offering.

You are aware of what Herb does on Thursdays? Not privy to the contracts (or negotiations) but one can surmise Disney is getting pretty greedy.

Maybe I am misinterpreting the direction of your post but you can also typically get access to ESPN+ via a Dish, DirecTV, or cable subscription I believe if you get their sports packages (maybe not all cable subscriptions though) so it's not just for cord cutters I don't believe… But yes, you can subscribe to the streaming service for like $4.99 per month (maybe $6.99, I can't remember)

Don't forget with Verizon you get the Disney+ package that includes ESPN and HULU.

ESPN+ is $9.99 this year, probably $13.99 next year.
