Game at Sacramento State 8:05 PM

:o :o Sac state 10-1 run Sac State 56 - Montana 54 with 11:34 to go foul on Mt. :o :o Mt 21-38 55% sac 15 more shots

58-54 Montana trails Sac steals twice

Sac State leads 67 - 63 and all of a sudden, KGVO lost the feed.

It is back. And now it is tied 67 - 67.

Dang, Sac State gets 4 unanswered points and leads by 4.

Davis blocks it, but Sac State gets ball and scores and leads by 6.

For anyone listening on the internet who cant through the live feed on mtgriz.com,

http://www.stretchinternet.com/csus/HornetsLive.mov

Should work as long as you have quicktime, or quicktime alternative installed.

75-69 hornets with 3:59 to go right now. Griz ball.

If I go in my kids room and turn the radio just right I can pick up the kofi feed from kalispell. 800 miles away and pretty damn clear.

Griz down by 2 with under 2 mins to go (I think). Hornet's announcer said Davis has 24 points right now and has been 'unstoppable'. Sounds like Davis has had a real good game. 8-12 from the field.

Edit: Another update. 53 seconds to go, Griz ball, down by 2. Farr just got the rebound on a missed sac state shot. Timeout Griz.

tied at 75 with 45 seconds.

Criswell called for foul and Sac shooting fouls.
1st made and now timeout montana.

Sac leads by 1. 26 seconds left.

Griz down by one with 26 seconds left. Harris is at the free throw line for Sac state (1 more to shoot). The Griz scored last on a drive from Farr, who passed off to Davis for a layup... Harris just hit the second free throw, so Griz down by 2 with 26 seconds left. Griz ball

Second attempt goes. Sac by 2. Dlouhy misses and Criswell fouls.

Why did they try to score so early? Go for the tie or win at the end.

Now down by 4.

Griz down by 3 and Harris to shoot for the win, and makes it.

Griz lost this game.

I am going to take heart with this loss as Montana fought to the very end. Better than the loss to MSU.

Final Score is Sac State 83 Montana 80.

Dlouhy missed a 3, and Sac states player was fouled on the rebound. He hit his 2 free throws to put sac state up by 4. Martin took the inbound pass and took it the length of the floor for a layup (in about only 6 seconds) . Sac state up by 2 with 9 seconds left. Sac state player is fouled with 8.5 seconds to go. Hit both free throws. Martin hit about a 35 foot 3 pointer. Freeman for sac state is fouled on the inbounds. 1.9 seconds left, Griz down by 1, with DeShawn Freeman shooting 2 free throws (10th foul on the Griz). Freeman hit both free throws. Griz's inbounds pass is stolen by Boxely, Sac state wins :(

why shoot an early three when down by 2, makes no sense. call a timeout and run a play, bad coaching at the end

:o :o Montana shoots 32-54 for 59% Davis scores 26 and goes 8-10 from the line. Martin had 9 assists. Criswell only shot 3 times. Sac state had 15 more shots. Freeman had 25 points, 10 steals and 9 assists. Pugh had 25 points 7 rebounds. Montana was 11-16 from the line Sac was 18-20. Final score 83-80 game was tied at 75. Montana had 19 assists and 23 turnovers. Sac had 17 steals. Farr played 20 minutes was 5-7 and 2-2 twelve points and 5 turnovers. Strait was 6-9 with 6 rebounds 0-2 at the line for twelve pts. Lynch played 7 minutes was 1-1. Seyfert played 9 minutes was 2-3. Easley played 9 minutes 1-3. Next game at home on thursday night Feb 24. Eastern who lost by two to Weber in Cheney. :o :o

Criswell three points? Sacs defenders are tough, but this is not good. NAU has Stevens and Hill(?) back, so it might be another rough won for him.

:o :o Montana plays Eastern of Feb 24th and Portland State on Feb 26th Montana does not play NAU until Monday Feb 28th and then most likely in Missoula March 9th in a playoff game. Criswell actually played well at SAC. Criswell will do fine and even better if Montana runs at NAU. Montana flat outran NAU in Missoula. They had hill but no stevens. Davis will slow the Montana attack to the half court a little more which may be a mistake. If Montana is successful at NAU they may end up playing Eastern or maybe it will still be NAU in playoff win or lose on Feb 28th in Flagstaff. If it goes as predicted they will get to test NAU on Monday and then playoff again on Sat to go to tournament in Portland most likely unless cats win at SAC Sat 19th. :o :o
