Future OOC Football Schedules

Need to get CWU off the schedule, we have no business playing a D2 team
It really is no different than Oregon playing down to Montana....

Yes it is different. FBS wins over FCS count toward bowl eligibility, whereas D1-AA wins over D-II teams do not count toward post season eligibility. See Eastern Washington this year. The game against Lindenwood screwed them. They play drake or Wagner or some other pushover FCS team they win and are probably an at large in this years playoffs.

Oh, I know all that. But, do you not recall that when Oregon BEAT the Griz earlier this year, the Ducks DROPPED in the standings. Playing down is almost always a bad thing.

Well, it didn't hurt Oregon in the season, as they are 6th, and could break into the National Championship "playoff" if things go their way.

Or maybe at 6th it did hurt them...

Maybe, but I don't think so. Alabama and Clemson were going to be up there no matter what with their powder puff schedules, so that's taking up 2 of the 4 spots. Alabama slipped, but I fully expect the pollsters to put them in the "playoff". They are this decade's version of Florida and FSU that were always up there for no real reason.

As far as Oregon, they were 16th after the Montana game, then plowed through the very weak Pac 12 to get to 6. Regardless of how, the pollsters have to account for them if Alabama and / or someone else loses again.

Montana should try to schedule San Diego, the Toreros have a bye week the same week of the Central Washington game

If they already have 11 games scheduled, then they would have to drop someone before they could schedule that game.

Damn didn't realize they had already scheduled 11 games, hell even grabbing another Big Sky opponent that won't count towards the Big Sky schedule would be better

Haha! I thought you meant UM. I didn’t know USD had 11 games scheduled. Play on!
