Future offensive line

Finally Germer has some FCS caliber linemen to develop. He was very frustrated last season.

I'm sure Germer just loves you coming on here and spouting that off, even IF it is true...

Uh, if you would pay attention, he was quoted as saying it publicly last season. Now, go back to sleep in your pedestrian little world.

Per Coach Stitt at the Billings GSA meeting in June, for the O Lineman they took there food stipend away for eating off campus when they got back for the Spring semester and had all the lineman eating a specific diet on campus. He said "all of our returning lineman are over 300 pounds now".

It'll be interesting to see this younger group develop. With I believe 5 seniors (Weyer, Todd, Kelly, Dietrich, and Thiebes) and 3 juniors (Luke, Sprunk, and Reese) you've got a lot of roster spots that'll need guys ready to start ASAP.

Also I'm still waiting for Growler/Atlanta to tell me which 3 new guys will be starting this season. He posted on MB that only 2 of the prior year's O-linemen will start, and based on posts he suggested Weyer will be one of those two. Quality reading right here: http://maroonblood.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1809

He did. Weyer and Dietrich. At least he insinuated that they had more DOLA qualities than the rest of the previous line.

I think one or two of the starters gets beat out. One of the younger guys will show up with a chip on his shoulder and open some eyes. Don't know who, but that's my prediction.

Understandable but I don't see any of the young guys beating a returning starter out

Great problem to have, and given what happened with Weyer last season, it's a blessing to have some depth just in case.

Brint...for the uninitiated. Is maroonblood.com sort of an egriz alternative and/or competitor? Who created it and where is based out of? Any other details would be helpful. Thanks!

Yep, it is the forum done by & for the haters you see here on Egriz.

The OL has been the source of frustration at times...

But I am actually pretty optimistic about the OL in 2016. It's upperclassmen-laden (5 Seniors, 2 Juniors), and they beefed-up... should translate into better offense.

Will Ben Weyer apply for a medical-reshirt, from missing the 2015 season?

Brint posts on MB. So does Raider and Griz Fan-24. All are hardly haters. It's certainly a smaller group of posters over there. AG1 is the MOD so things are allowed to play out.....If you have a tendency to post fluff, I wouldn't entertain going over there.....

Kyle can probably answer this best, but I was told Weyer will play and be done at the end of this season. I don't know if that means he didn't receive a medical waiver, or if he didn't seek one, but last I heard, this was going to be his last season.

Do you really need to know?

It's been rumoured that people that have visited that site have gone catatonic. Buit no one's been willing to talk.
