Maryville (DIII) 28; E. TN St. 21. ETS lost its first game 56-14 to Kennesaw St. They last played football in 2003 and march into Bozeman 10/24.

Typical Ron Ash scheduling. Dude has it figured out. Get your 7 wins against shitty teams, collapse in November, and MSU will think you are a good coach who just had some bad luck down the stretch. Repeat.

Credit where it's due: coach Ron Ash is serious about his commitment to racking up wins against shitty opponents.

Originally it was East Timor State. Same guy scheduled UNDSU, and we know how that worked out.

Then the offseason fan fueled hype building them up to be the next big team to break out in the fcs. Get rekt by the griz, first or second round loss (if they're lucky)....rinse and repeat.

What few intelligent fans that they have are starting to figure it out, and they are unhappy. The majority, though, blindly think the guard change is still coming.

This is very true. I know a few smart MSU grads/fans, and they all pretty much think Ron Ash is a fucking joke that keeps the program in a holding pattern to retain his job. Watch him on the sidelines, and you can tell he doesn't really give a shit.
