Fullerton Round 2

WOW, Tinkle nailed one pregame point of emphasis. He said winning the FT battle would contribute to a W. GREAT FT shooting. Cherry was unbelievably good from the FT line. Feel free to get on his NBA bandwagon anytime. :thumb: There are only a few of us on it now.

This team is tough mentally too. Despite very little perimeter shooting, I really like this team.

Been on it for a while now. hes nowhere near ready but the ability and POTENTIAL is NO DOUBT there.

How great is it that BQ can have a really off night/get shut down and the Griz still handily defeat an opponent on the road? I like the looks of this team and how they are improving more and more.

Way to go Griz! Keep Maulin 'em! :thumb: 8-)

I am not saying he is ready yet. If he continues to work like he does and fine tune his game, he has a great chance. His Defense is there already.

As for kgvo, due to some legal things, they cannot internet stream after 10 PM when a game is completed.

Hmmm....that may be part of the issue. But this has occurred during games earlier in the day as well. It just seems as though they don't care about the post-game.

I did not recall the earlier games, just the late ones. I wonder if they have only so many hours in a year or something like that they can use toward online audio streaming of GRIZ basketball? I would like to know though.

Picked it up on the radio...the local guy says'''this Griz team is for real"!!!! They rolled tonight...great free throw shooting and Cherry and Steward are getting better each time they hit the floor...Don't look now, but if not for bad free throws, the Griz would be 10-1! They might just go undefeated in the conference if they get by Weber and NAU...

That's a BIG IF. I hope it happens!
Cherry keeps getting better and better as his confidence expands...if he can control himself like he did tonight apparently, he can control the floor...the Griz have a superior defense....really , really good!

Missed the game tonight due to work. Can someone please shed some light on why Wood only played 8 minutes with only 2 PF's? Is coach Tinkle trying something new? Was he sick? I will be eating a ton of crow if his role diminishes, but what can you do? The kids numbers are beginning to look like Shawn Stocton's. Maybe a change is on the horizon. MVP of the game, AS, played 21 min off the bench, and VA played 10 off the bench. Shifts are happening.

Woods picked up two fouls early and sat for the rest of the half. Later, Stockton picked up two quick fouls I(in 2 minutes, I believe) and sat for rest of half. Autry got his minutes in the first half. I don't believe he played in the second half. I believe Woods played briefly at the start of the second half, but was replaced--by Steward, I believe. Stockton play twice in the second half. Woods didn't get back in until very late in the game. After the game, Tinkle cited the play of Steward, Ward and Stockton off the bench. Tinkle also said that he planned to rest Cherry more.

Great informative post......thanks guy/gal (seriously). I have been reading Egriz for along time now, and this is the first post, of yours, that has substance and info to it. In addition, you didnt put your self on a pedistal, or bathe and dwell on other posters "credibility".

I have to think that we're going to begin seeing much more of Steward. I really think the Griz are at their best when he, Cherry and Jamar are on the floor. Certainly the Griz are as athletic as they've ever been with that combo.

I think winning the last game before Christmas break on the road is a very difficult task. The kids just want to go HOME. Great job guys, and great job Tinks!

Then, you obviously haven't been reading egriz much or my posts, because most of my posts are substantive and informative. I almost never post when I don't have good information or don't know what I'm talking about, without indicating that I don't have information or am speculating. The reason I can often say that a post doesn't have credibility is because I have good or inside information, or because I can see in the post that the poster doesn't understand what he's talking about.

 There you go again man! Damn, you stroke your ego way too much dude. I am embarrased for you muchacho. And trust me, I have read a ton of egriz (more that I like to admit), and I am know getting first hand experience as to why most (if not all) dont respect anything you say. You dont go around piping that you have Inside info (On a "d-1 messageboard). I would never expect anybody to believe me if I had any. Give it up man.

So, your credibility from your "inside information" sounds like you got it all from a box score and listened to Mick last night.........good stuff man. It was "substantive and informative", but it wasnt your own info. Dont lie, you were not @ fullerton. You are plagiarizing.
