Fullerton Round 2

Wow what a comeback... down by 12 at one point and now up by 11 35-24 with 40 seconds left in the half! Looks like the Griz woke up finally :)
 
WOW!! What a tale of 2 halves of a half!!!

Griz looked as bad as they have all year for 10 mins and then they looked like a Top 20 team for the next 10. I mean, that was SERIOUS domination in the final 10 of that half.

Well the GRIZ withstood absolutely terrible 1st 10 minutes. A sign of a good team is staying alive during bad stretches. They did that. GREAT 1st half bench production from Ward, Steward, and Autry. That is very encouraging too. Will played like Will the last 5 minutes too.

We cannot have another bad long stretch. As long as we continue playing defense, and hit FT's we win this one. Nice recovery boys!!!
 
This is where Tinkle's teams have improved so much. A few years back they would have given up when they were down by 12 and probably let it balloon to a beat down of 20 - 30+ points. This team knows it can come back and doesn't panic! Keep it going Griz!

They can thank Anthony Johnson for the new mentality, approach, and believes. AJ will be impacting this team 4 years after his departure. No doubt every returnee learned from him, and they are passing it along to the newbies.

Griz need to close this deal out right now. THey're letting Fullerton hang around at that 10-12 point difference. Time to put the hammer down!
 
Might be a little early for the Griz to be running the weave to burn clock. It seems we struggle to get good lucks when running that.
