This would be my perfect conference. I know it will never happen because 9 & 10 will never drop down for football but every team would play against each other and the travel would be relatively close.

North: Colorado State, Idaho, Montana, Montana State, Nevada, Wyoming

South: Arizona, Arizona State, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Utah, Utah State

Conference Championship at Mile High Stadium, New Vegas Raiders' Stadium, or Where the Cardinals play.

Either that, or this:

Boise State, Eastern Washington, Hawaii, Idaho, Idaho State, Montana, Montana State, Nevada, Utah State
