From a CCU fan

I was one of the first on Egriz to congratulate CCU just as I am always quick to compliment a good team when we win. Then, I checked out their board. WOW! Their fans including bodoyle have little but disdain for the Griz and Griz nation. These people are nothing like the good fans from places like ASU. They refer to the us as a bunch of delusional clowns. I would refrain from congratulating or complimenting them. CCU is as classless as any I have seen. I for one hope NDSU blows them off the field.

Congrats. Great win for CCU. I was very impressed with your QB and your RB was also pretty good, but I was equally impressed with your Oline. It was nice of your coach to take his foot off the gas or it could have been worse and it allowed us to get back in the game. That said it was unfortunate your team was not able to experience a typical Griz crowd=the smallest and comparably quiet crowds since the expansion and it is very unfortunate about the controversial officiating, though it made your fairly average right corner look pretty good because he was holding on just about every play and never got called once. I considered him your weakest link and we did try to pick on him, but the refs were bailing him out. That is by far the most booing of refs I have ever heard...anywhere. Good luck next week. Good time to take on NDSU with the distraction of a coaching change.

It's a case of not being there before. They get a good win and don't know how to react because it hasn't happened before. Top tier programs that consistently win and battle for the national championship have fans that know how to win with class and respect. CCU fans didn't know how to respond to our pregame diluge on their forum and their reaction was classless for the most part. There seem to be a few classy fans from CCU but for the most part, they just don't know how to behave following a big win because they haven't been there before. I guess we will have to see how they react after next weeks game. As the saying goes, act like have been there before.

I don't think they're used to the kind of smack that goes on around here and some of the other programs who are used to winning, they handled it pretty well but like every other fanbase they have a few people who are over the top.

Wait until the NDSU guys really start laying it down, they'll get an earful this week.
