FRISCO ROLL CALL

I've been to every national championship and wouldn't miss it. 2000 was best football experience I've had. The pregame with Georgia Southern was awesome. It was the first time the University acted like they were bigtime and put on a show. I'll have a couple extra game tickets also if someone didn't get tickets through the U.

My husband and I and our two young adult sons are driving over from Abilene and meeting up with my parents and sister who are on a charter out of Missoula. I scored a nice Airbnb 10 minutes from my parents hotel. Very excited for a three generation get together!

Since we are so close we could have maybe waited for cheap tickets but I didn't think the possibility of getting four together was all that high at a late date. It's only money after all.

Pack winter gear. I went to the game last year and the Griz fest and the start of the game will be cold, especially if it rains.

I would love 1 of those extra game tickets if possible! I live in the DFW area and am a long time Griz fan (went to the game in 2009 and my grandpa taught there). Please let me know!
 
This will be my first NC game. After the last one, Villanova, I swore if they ever made it again, I would be there. My son and his fiance are driving up from Austin to come to the game. She is from Denton, which is pretty darn close to Frisco.

As an aside, I saw NDSU come in and beat the Griz when they were still a Division 2 school. Unfortunately, I attended that game with a member of the NDSU Hall of Fame. Between the last chipper and this one, NDSU supplanted the Griz as 'the dynasty.' This needs to be the year we take it back.

I’m in - my 13-year-old son and I are flying in on Friday night, and staying until Monday. Hope to meet some of you while we’re there!

I guess I am still going to Frisco this year as well.

My buddy in Missoula let us stay at his house for the game against the Grizz, when we lost I sold him my 10 tickets I bought months ago. They all booked flights and one guy had to cancel because his wife might have a baby within the week. So he called and asked if I wanted to go anyway. I told him I didn't want to spend the money, it gets expensive going every year.

Just got off the phone with him and him and his buddy bought my plane ticket. This will be 11 out of the last 13 years for me. Travel safe

Have been to several national championships. 9 in our party for this trip. Taking my two daughters for their first (and hopefully many more) Championship game. From Whitefish, flying out of Spokane. GO GRIZ

I have always said - A championship game is the most fun you can have with out getting arrested.
