 It's the food of Madagascar. I've never had it. I was just messing with you. I have had Ethiopian and Eritrean food multiple times, however. Love it. Sidenote: If you ever have a chance to go to an Eritrean wedding, do it. They do this 30-minute-long traditional dance with those curvy swords and horses and stuff.

I work with a woman from Eritrea. I’ll ask her about it. Her background is crazy.

You should, and should try to be her +1 at the next one. I have a relative through marriage whose family came from there. Their wedding reception was incredible.

We are staying at Dallas Hilton Lincoln Center Friday and Saturday. We are moving to the Hampton in Frisco on Sunday morning. It is a 5 to 10 minute walk to Toyota Field. We are going to GrizFest Saturday night. My wife's brother is coming up from Austin with his partner. He is a Griz fan, too!

We are gearing up for a great time!

Her father was essentially a televangelist and then when the new government took over they got rid of anyone and everyone with a following. So they bailed to the US. She said she remembers having maids and what not when she was young to her parents having to work two jobs.

I did not want to start a new thread, but I have just heard that there are now new charter packages available to Frisco. I haven't seen them advertised anywhere. They are going to have a tough time filling them if no one knows about them.

I think the charters are outrageously expensive! Both my mom and I put together our own packages together for about $1,000/person

Was told by two different parties who attended the cat’s game that it was all fun and games except for the line going into the stadium. One of them said they were just finding their seats at kickoff. The other said it was already five minutes into the game by the time they were inside.

Moral of the story… leave the tailgate early and buy your last beer inside to avoid the crush

I've gone for a few years now and it seems to be hit and miss, either the lines move fairly quickly or they barely move at all. For a 1pm local time kickoff, I would recommend start walking to the line at 12:00 or so, it's a short walk so you'll be in line in about 10 minutes. Bring a beer or two with you to drink in line in case there's a long wait. :thumb: For those setting up tailgating spots, the lots "officially" open at 8am but NDSU fans every year would always show up way early and they just get let in so you can plan on showing up as early as you want.

I don't know if it's been mentioned here yet, but Toyota Stadium is a 100% cashless facility, you can only pay by credit/debit card, or Apple/Google pay. Maybe apps like Venmo work too but I'm not sure. You will not be able to spend cash inside the place.

This is good advice. When the Cats were there, there were long lines to get in and they moved very slow. Some people I know did not get in until halfway thru the first qtr. You should try entering at least an hour before game time. Enjoy the experience Griz fans and good luck to the team!
