With all the recent coaching moves, I've been thinking, who I'd like to see return as GRIZ coaches.
The 3 off the top my head, I'd like to see back as GRIZ coaches.
1. Shann Schillinger, I was selfishly hoping he'd be back as the new DC. Would love to see him be successful and be a HC here.
2. Justin Green- hope he builds his resume to return as OC or HC. It's odd not having him on staff. Terrific person and coach.
3. Robby Hauck- now, he'd be a huge recruiting asset. I don't care what coaching position. Just feel his knowledge and energy would be a perfect fit. I think he had HC potential. Plus, it's strange having ZERO Hauck's as GRIZ. With the right experience, I think he'd be a dynamic HC one day. I hope that's his goal. How good can he be by the time he's 35?
4. Mike Ferriter, I'd like to see him get on with a winning program and see what he can do. Unfortunately, at this stage I'm not sure of his upside.
5. AJ Forbes- this guy has coach written all over him. I think he'd be a terrific OL coach, to OC,to HC.
Plus, my I wish he'd coach nominee.
Sammy Akem- his knowledge and personality could take him a long way.
Sammy, please get yourself on staff somewhere as a WR coach or assistant.
Thoughts, additions, and please keep it on topic and respectful. I tbink this is a fun subject.
