Forget the Playoffs ...

One week at a time... I'm going to not count on us making the playoffs this year, if they surprise me by making it, pleasant surprise =D. Go Griz regardless, I'm a fan through thick and thin, even if we lose out every game the rest of the year you'll see me yelling my ass off in the cold at Wa-Griz Stadium against MSU. FTC!

I still think they could take 4 or 5 of these games.
The Griz will run the board. Wait & see. After all, they are THE GRIZZ11

This team is not what it has been billed as.

You bunch of pussies we will be just fine. We knew this would be a tough year.

Jesus, stop crying. The cats looked like shit today and will get our best shot. It's nice to be the dog for a change, IMO, rather than having the target on our back.

Cam down, FFS..

All I can say is "wow". We just take #7 in the nation to the wire and we're going to now lose to everybody but the dregs of the conference?

In the game of football winning takes care of everything. Northern Colorado is just what the doctor ordered. I don't see this team losing more than one more game.

Last week I said 5-2 for the remaining seven. I think that holds true: 5-1 for the remaining six with a good chance of being +/- 1 depending on how the team responds.

After watching the game on Saturday, how in the heck do some of you think the Griz are not going to make the playoffs???

You can still afford to lose one more game and make the playoffs. You really have 2 tough games left, at North Dakota and home against the Cats. You are not going to lose at N. Col this week or at home to SUU next week, its not going to happen.

You also won't lose to ISU at home and shouldn't lose to WSU on the road. That leaves 2 games in question. You get the Cats at home and you get UND on the road after they have played 3 straight against tough competition (Cal Poly, EWU, NAU). I think the odds of the Griz winning one, if not both of those games are really high.

Just because you lost 2 in a row, the sky isn't falling. You had us on the ropes and outplayed us in the 2nd half. We recovered an improbable onside kick in the process of winning. If you guys get one first down on the drive after Adams fumbled around midfield, you probably win that game.

Good luck the rest of the year and we WILL see you in the playoffs...

Agreed marceagfan5. Griz will be at worst 7-4, maybe even 8-3. 7-4 should get Griz in playoffs 8-3 certainley will.

Best possible outcome?

NDSU stumbles late in the season, the Cats are sitting at numero uno, and they come into 7-3 Montana and get house-trained.

We'll beat all but maybe MSU, and I like our chances against them at home. 6 game winning streak into the playoffs. This was the #7 team in the nation we took to the end and if we had probably 20 more seconds would've taken to OT. Griz showed vast improvement from last week.
I agree with you, but I did kind of laugh - you think Lider woudl have missed the game winning Extra point? 2 in one game? :o

If Henderson turns to the sideline instead of back inside the Griz get 1 more play and a chance to win. If Naccarato take a knee in the endzone instead of trying to return it UM starts the last drive on the 25 instead of the 18. Freshman mistakes of trying to do too much. By November those mistakes should be gone and when the Griz beat MSU it creates a 4 team log jam at 6-2 for the BSC title.
