So rumor is he has Idaho, Wyoming and Hawaii offers...are those PWO offers or scholly offers?

Actually I think Hawaii is a very difficult place to recruit to. It seems like paradise, until you are there about a month. Then you figure out you are an outsider in a culture that values deep family and 'tribal' (for lack of a better word) roots more than anything. You are at the bottom of a very structured social system. It's a long way from home, very expensive, Oahu is pretty small, and Hawaii football isn't that big of a thing there. All the best local players want nothing more than to get to the mainland as fast as possible.

I had two former teammates that played baseball there, and were miserable for the reasons you just described, especially the cultural issues.

Am headed to Hawaii on Thursday. To me, it seems like paradise for about 2 days. Then, I'm done and ready to come back to the mainland. Unfortunately, I'll be there for 10. :evil: :evil: :evil:
