Would you say it's a done deal, as it were?Umista said:It is official. The F man is NOT coming to UM. Old man Growler can attest to this fact! Along with others in the know! For verification contact anyone in Griz sports at the U.
The.."incapable of making a decision"..might be correct. Much more so than failing to find an opening wherein a starting option is available. Which could be plenty difficult for any transfer from one FBS into another FBS; most times, with about 83 scholarships available per school at the Division I level, it won't be easy to find a team that has less than four of five QBs on their roster already in place, plus a number of freshmen recruits besides coming in the fall. Then having to sit a year due to NCAA transfer rules?Gaeilge1 said:Sounds to me as if he is still searching for options. This is just more of the same with this kid. He is simply incapable of making a decision, which is not a quality one would like in a quarterback. Wherever he goes or whether he plays another down in college,..
David2 said:The kid sounds like another Ryan Leaf, to me. If he doesn't start the first game he's eligible to play, he's going to poison the locker room, & there's more to a team than what happens on the field. From what little I know about Roper, he poisoned the locker room. Yes, the Griz came one game within going to the playoffs, but when the primary leader of your offense doesn't click with the rest of the team, bad things happen, and they did to the Griz last year. I'm not laying last season on Roper, but I think had there been more connection between him & his offense, the Griz would have done better. Maybe not.
At any rate, the Griz don't need head cases in the locker room. Avoid this guy like the plague, as it's becoming evident other teams are.
