Fans who are more concerned about their extracurricular fun at a venue are treating the game like a bowl game rather than a national championship game. Most of whom repeatedly disdain bowl games in favor of a shot at a NC.
Hypocrisy.

Yes, if we're gonna drop a few thousand dollars to travel on short notice we'd like to be entertained outside of the game itself.

NCAA can just renew Frisco with the swipe of pen and be done dealing with FCS for years.....they will do it as long as Frisco wants it.

Sadly this is most certainly true.

Hey! If you are there to do anything over the weekend outside of kickoff to 0:00, you have bad priorities. If you want anything to eat near your hotel that isn’t Chili’s by a different name, go to a bowl game. We were in Frisco to settle ~50-60th place in CFB, not have fun.

Seems the priority.

What I would like is to see see and hang out with friends, and not spend half of the time driving a rental car (and not drinking) or taking Ubers. And still not catching up with most of the people I want to see. if I just wanted to watch the game, I would watch the game at home and save a bunch of time and money.

Sad but true, I believe. The venue itself is fine, but until the charter packages can deliver the fans to hotels/bars/etc immediately connected to the game and pep fan venues, then I think it is a bust! I loved Chatanooga, where would could walk virtually everywhere.
