If Lillard doesn't break his foot, you guys are CIT bound.
If Weber gets healthy. Which is a huge ? Right now. I think we can still take this.
Griz have a good team, don't get me wrong, but 2-0 at home and you're talking sweet 16. Really, LOL!
Lillard is a great player (would have edged out cam jones for mvp), but he is not in Rodney Stuckey's league. Even if you had Stuckey combined with Rahe being a great coach, you were far from guaranteed to win the conference. Face it, the rest of your roster is barely average in the league.
I watched Weber four times before Lillard's unfortunate injury, and you were much better with him last year at the 2 guard. As it stands, the griz have the best center, power forward, and point guard in the league. Lillard would have given you a chance to win the title, but it definitely was not a sure thing.
I would argue that Lillard is clearly better than Cherry as a 2 guard, but it is much closer at the point. Also, I am willing to admit I was wrong and put Lillard in Stuckey's league, as soon as he proves it by having a similar NBA career and not before.
I give Rahe and Lillard very high marks, but the rest of your roster is pedestrian at best.
