It’s truly an eyesore. That video really highlights the fact that it is quite literally three completely separate sets of stands surrounding a pasture. It looks like one of those failed projects where the developer ran out of money midway through and just left it there.
Exactly! Like when you're in Puerto Vallarta and you're driving the highway south toward Mismaloya, and you look up to the hillside to the left and see all the abandoned condo projects? Like that.

Just got home from bball in Billings. Bozeman pass was a fucking nightmare. Chains required on all trailers. Top speed was about 30. Homestake was no picnic either but way better than bozo pass

100% guarantee they don’t shovel the Griz sections. They never do. They will clear off the rest of the stadium, but not those three spots. Absolutely guaranteed.

It's such a lil brother thing. Which is why it's not a surprise.
The weather will be about as good as it gets in the high plains with sunshine and temperature in the 30s for half the game. I think the engineering school designed it as a wind tunnel for testing aerodynamics then later decided to convert it into a stadium. The wind will be horrendous on the NW end of the field. Whoever thought 2:00 was a good time to start the game should be tarred and feathered. One positive I can see in the stadium design is the orientation of the field in a NW to SE direction. That angle puts the setting sun (240 degrees per the compass) perpendicular to the high side of the stadium and out of the eyes of the players. Kickoff in 14 hours!!! Go Griz.
