For all you whiners

Thank you HHB. Here is my opinion: MVSU is three weeks ago. The Griz better focus on EWU and nothing else.

Too bad the whiners can't get past it. And unless you are calling the Griz whiners, we are talking about 2 different groups.

Honestly, better than scheduling a Division II school. Easy game, and it counts towards playoff eligibility.

Eastern just scheduled a one game series with Fordham...at their place next year. For as good of a football program as we have, we can't schedule worth a $hit

There's no OOC options since the entire Western part of the US is in the Big Sky. Any team that isn't DII is a good get IMO.

Ya...but with no return game to Cheney, it's a joke...I'd rather have the Griz scheduling problems

It's all about them dollars. Only a few western FCS teams usually have that type of pull with the promise of a working payout. EWU's got a good program that's winning a crap-ton of games, but with their current stadium size and crowd attendance they can only offer so much for these games (it seems).

Not just an EWU problem obviously. Just have to look at how schools are booking their OOC's. We've got schools that have their three OOC's being two FBS play-up games and then a D2 or even NAIA play-down game. That's how they're making their budgets. Get big $$ for getting wrecked (with some exceptions - like EWU of late who has won or had great showings against FBS) and then pay a D2 school a much smaller fee for a home game compared to what they'd have to pay to get an "eastern" FCS team out.
