I think if you read how the situation was dealt with, it's pretty clear that Delaney reported this situation to the AD and the athletic conduct committee reviewed the situation and concluded that the incident was serious enough and the probability of guilt strong enough that dismissing Poole was the only option. It wasn't Delaney's decision at all, which is the whole point, msuhunter. The standards are supposed to be beyond the influence of one coach, or even one coach and AD.
