Football Gameplan Chooses NAU to Win

Crazy, I have that on my phone also. My guess is that is light, don't know what is going on with their running back, hope he doesn't breakout this game. I know it pisses people off, but I don't think the Griz have played anyone yet. With that said, the Griz still look great on both sides of the ball. Here is what the simulator says with the cats at home against app st. 32-25 cats. Everyone says the cats suck, well even if the cats were picked to lose by 7 still doesn't say much about app st.

Here are a couple others, using Griz as home team

Again, who knows. These are just stats.

Speaking of stats, weren't you the one who said that App State was so weak that UND was going to beat the Griz?

Yep they were weaker than app state, who could be 1-4 after this weekend. The Sioux should get crushed by the cats today also. They way everyone talks about the Cats what would you think about the Griz if the Cats win by an identical score? Like app state, you can't go with how they played someone the year before. Not saying the Griz aren't good. Just saying they haven't played in anyone worth a crap yet. Very easy to look good against those three teams. Right now the Griz look like they are the cream of the crop for the BSC. Like one of the Griz posters said after the Cal Poly/PSU game, doesn't look like anyone will go undefeated in the BSC this year.

They way everyone talks you guys have an easy one this week. Don't know, I expect the Griz to win. Doesn't mean the will, NAU just might out run the odds.

To answer your question, it worked out well for me. Through these conversations I was able to get someone to bet on UND, and give me some points and 2/1 on the money so I made $300.

How did you do picking the Griz last year against the Sioux? We can't all pick every game. I will be wrong more than right, plus I like to play devils advocate.

And the part you quoted, I was talking back and forth having a civil conversation with NL about a simulator that he didn't have full access to. They weren't my picks so if those games don't come out don't jump on me.

So what is your score for today's game? I see most Griz fans are talking a big win for the Griz. You have already proved you know more than me. How should I bet? What makes it a lock? While you are at it pick these games also.

By the way rained about an inch at SDSU last night, and a high school game was played on the field. Suppose to rain during the game a little today also. Could be a little different game for NDSU not playing in the dome. Oh yea, also 30 mph gusts. Those things could be a factor.

This isn't the same msu team of last year. Msu could only muster up 26 points against a DII team plus lost to SFA. Msu will be out of the top 25 within the next game or 2.
I just brought this pick up because I think his picks are way off. Bleskin threw 4 picks last weekend against a not so great D. I hope you don't rely on these coaches polls.

msu offense only scored 2 touchdowns against D11 colorado mesa.

Against unranked sfa, Cody "Unhook the Trailor" Kirk rushed for an eye opening 31 yards. :shock: While his actual speedy teammate, Sean Johnson, rushed for a bed-ridden 19 yards.

The cats are in a must-win situation (their words, not mine) this weekend.

Heading up to grand forks soon, rainy and chilly, at least the game is indoors. Good weekend of games. Does suck that we have to experience the Griz the game through game cast since not on web.

I think we'll learn today how really dominating The Griz are.
Not just by their 51-17 win over NAU, but also by how UND does against 38-28!
UND is not a bad team-the Griz just made them look bad. MSU won't do the same.
With Bleskin at the helm and on the road against a high-powered offense with lots of speed and size at the skill positions, they'll struggle.
The Griz will dominate both lines with size and experience. The NAU offensive line is small and "freshmanny" and will get out-smarted worn out quickly-as well the the NAU defensive line. Bauman will not go off like last year. the Griz pursuit will stop him and the Griz will challenge Poe to beat them. Not gonna happen. The Griz could get easily get 6 sacks and spook this kid early. He'll take lots of hits!

The Griz o-line goes without saying!

Say what you want, but Mick's class act to me made all the trash and smack talk seem really small. How can you not root for a guy like that. It's nothing to do with any bandwagon. It has to do with having two schools led by classy coaches that reperesent our State. I choose to root for both except the last game. I couldn't do that when Bobby Hauck was your coach as he was the opposite of Mick.

Rob - Sorry I didn't get back to you before you left, but I will go ahead and make my picks using Copper Griz's because I agree with most of his picks. But I am not going to guess the spread, since that is usually not that predictable.

SHSU over EWU, Big Sky teams don't do that well there, and Flanders et. al. are too much for EWU defense.
NDSU over SDSU National Champs, and this is not the game that they lose.
UNI over McNeese. I differ from CG because I think UNI is pretty damned good.
App will win. I wouldn't bet the house on it, but I would bet my retirement.
UND over MSU. UND has a potent offense, and the Cats are demoralized.
UM over NAU Revenge is ours!

It's not that the teams that the Griz play are bad, the Griz just make teams look bad.

You picked 3 out of 5 not bad at all tough week of good games. Was at the Cat game. The one game that surprised me score wise was UNI, thought they would win but also thought it would be closer.

Rob - Sorry I didn't get back to you before you left, but I will go ahead and make my picks using Copper Griz's because I agree with most of his picks. But I am not going to guess the spread, since that is usually not that predictable.

SHSU over EWU, Big Sky teams don't do that well there, and Flanders et. al. are too much for EWU defense.
NDSU over SDSU National Champs, and this is not the game that they lose.
UNI over McNeese. I differ from CG because I think UNI is pretty damned good.

Thanks, the only one I got wrong was UM, but I was a little surprised on some scores. I hope you realize I was not full of shit on you guys not playing anyone. Did you see Zenner only had 4 yards against the Bison. That is 90 in three games.
