Football can't get here fast enough.

Coach K has done a great job starting the Griz Hoops program on he road to recovery-winning the League his first year isn't bad.
Lets see did foortball win the league last yr? Now as I recall the Griz Hoops team beat Stanford this yr. How did the pigskin prodigies do against Oregon last yr? If he get support Larry could have Griz Hoops in the big time in a few yrs. Of course that woulnd't compare to seeig the Griz FB beat Cal Poly. Fans, should
root for both programs to be successful; no malice intended-
I like the Griz football spectacle-but they still play in the minor leagues. There is no show on earth like March Madness.

I like March madness, it is awesome.

I wasn't attacking the Griz basketball program. I was posting on the sport of basketball itself.

Baseball is the best game ever invented, then football, hockey, charades, solitare, jenga, porno password, pictionary, soccer, handball, tennis, Rock paper sissors then basketball.

Alpha, just curious...do you have a beef with basketball only because YOU were always too fat to play? This seems to be a justified conclusion judging on the amount of hours you must sit at your computer per day to put up the number of posts you do.

FWIW, I like basketball and football. I really wish we had a baseball team, too. That would be very cool.

you know what id like to see. a lacrosse team, i remember playing that in grade school and even though it wasnt full contact with pads and all it was still fun as hell. i heard something about lacrosse at the u of m from my weight training teacher last semester. it might have been intramurals and not an actual ncaa competition team. then the other day i heard about a city league forming from some kid at lunch...
just wondering, does anyone know anything about this city league?

Fantana, your post in no way is relevant to the subject at hand, it is random and incoherant, and overall is just frustrating to read

Way off topic, I realize, but didn't UM once have a baseball team? Playing against Gonzaga, North Idaho and some other schools? But then again, anything over 3 days old in my memory banks is not trustworthy information.
