One has to look at the influential people and where they attended college in our schools. If you can't discern their condescending elitist thought process as to why our schools are not capable of moving up, then take a time out.

MSU for many years had a group of professors and coaches who openly stated their disdain for not being able to get a better school. Unfortunately, I've had the misfortune of listening to a few professors at UM who had the same attitude and waved their Harvard masters or Washington degrees in the kids face.

Only Boise, JMU and App St. ahead of the Griz in the Sagarin. The rest behind UM. Old Dominion is 2-3, and 122 in the Sagarin. Looks like UM left them behind.

It's better than 1899. The Portal allows easier recruiting and cherry-picking. Won't everyone want to play for UM? If UM moves up, unlimited money will roll into the program and into NIL coops. The Griz will be popular nationally and tens of millions of fans will watch the Griz on real tv, not ESPN+.

Nevada has had some decent football success, but they've had outstanding basketball success, which there is no way in HELL they would have had if they were still in the bsc. UM BB has that potential as well, but not in this freakin conference.
