How does WIU score 56 on Eastern while laying a goose egg against the Griz?

How do the Griz only score 21 on Eastern?

I don't even think it's the Offense, I don't think anyone is drawing up plays for them!

Eastern Is a great example of a team that has improved each week. They put it all together last night. Early non conference games are sometimes not good indicators as too how good a team is, especially this year after the long layoff from the pandemic.

I was pretty disappointed in our play calling last night. Running on every single first down. Football has evolved that you have to use 1st to throw and throw often. It’s the easiest down to throw on. Rosey needs to figure it out or it will be a wasted season.

Well, when they have Flowers that can outrun anyone, and Akem that can out jump anyone in most situations, THROW IT... Roberts is always good for 10-15 in the middle. Then the run is opened up for Harris and Childs.
