Flashbacks to the South Dakota St. game

I know this is the football forum but, man, how about that basketball game last night? I had flashbacks to the playoff win over SDSU. I honestly thought about turning the damn thing off at halftime but decided to stick with it and actually thought about that SDSU comeback. Johnson was like the bball team's version of Mariani. Incredible individual performance. On to the Dance!

Tink's IQ went up 50 points in the second half... I.E.: shut up, take a seat on the bench and give the ball to AJ... and I think I've finally found a useful function for McGillis., too... be AJ's bodyguard... we can't lose that kid... Wow! PS: Who put a nickel in Selvig last night? Great game kid! I wish the rest of the kids played with the urgency that Selvig and Johnson showed last night.

Selvig looked good last night. Somebody's gonna have to fill AJ's shoes next year, maybe Selvig can step up. Cherry should be a good one too, but he didn't look all that great last night.

And, not to be lost in the afterglow of AJ's offensive clinic is the defensive play in the 2nd half. I think Qvale had 6 blocks (for the entire game) and overall they did a much better job of making Weber actually work for points.

He is ancient history...We have a new coach that also wins the BSC tourney and recruits very well....Larry is not missed....just remembered fondly.

I was in Sioux Falls, SD for business on Thursday and this morning. I had a great time telling the SDSU co-workers about thier "twin" basketball team in a Weber uniform. They were not pleased.
