“Sidenote” ~ Montana has a AD who is highly questionable remember he hired Stitt and wouldn’t even give Choate a phone interview even though he was highly recommended by very successful coaches in the College Football World ~ Montana’s AD wouldn’t recognize a good candidate if it was handed to him ~ Right there puts Montana behind the eight ball!!

I think Fisher needs to do something bigger than DC at TSU before he’s in the running for the UM job. Maybe getting him on staff and grooming him as head coach in waiting wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Dude hasn't been a winning head coach in almost a decade and the staff was fired at ASU. He is QB coach in Calgary. He got canned at Cal because the offense was terrible.

He probably doesn't want the headaches of being a head coach. I doubt he'd take a huge pay cut to coach this team with the lunatic expectations of the fans.
