what’s up Grizz fans!!?? I’m coming into town to check out the game this weekend (all the way from Maryland) and wanted to get the scoop on must-see places. Bars, landmarks, hikes, lakes, etc. I’m a Blue Hen at heart but I’ll be rocking maroon this weekend. Thanks in advance!

There's a whole thread on that topic somewhere on this board, but it all depends on how long you're staying.

Yeah, me too. First time goin' to Montana. Currently in Dodge City, Kansas. Couldn't find Matt or Kitty. Saw some Montana license plates the other day, so I must be gettin' closer, I think. Need a little help here.

First, Get a hotel room within walking distance to the stadium. That includes about a dozen options.

Next, night before the game hit the Missoula Club. Our traditional dive bar for beers and hot pepper cheeseburgers.

That completes your tour of Missoula.

I would conclude by going across the street to Reds and throw peanuts at the old farts sitting on Dead Pecker Row.

You will have no problem getting opinions on where to drink, eat, and what to see and do while you are here. At last count I think there were 10-12 distinct breweries and distinct distilleries in the Missoula area.
As for eats, decide what you want, then ask the locals where to go!

Above all, enjoy your stay and have fun!!

Thanks everyone for the great feedback! We made homes-away from home for ourselves at the Union Club and Reds.... both were exceptional. Still don't really understand the hype behind the Jedice (Jedis?) shot, but we sure had a lot of them. You all definitely have a great gameday atmosphere and we really enjoyed ourselves. Best of luck this season, and thanks for having us!

PS sorry about the extra "z"... Go Griz!
