First look - Montana at Sac State

How big is this game for Griz fans? This is arguably the biggest game in SAC history and I’m hoping for a great turnout on both sides of the stadium Saturday.

We sell beer inside now too!!!

Kadeezy, this is unexpectedly a big game. We want to believe "The Grizzlies" have returned. At the moment it looks promising. Though 'the proof is in the pudding'. Winning tough road games like this will tell us if they're back.

So it is certainly no where near the biggest game in history. Yet for now this is the biggest game of the year. The winner has a great edge to win the Big Sky. Expecting a great game. Go Griz!

Make use of those beer sales for me!

This is one of my favorite questions.ihad posts about it earlier this year, before we had any idea howgood the Griz could be.
I would say now that we know the Griz, when healthy can compete with anyone.
My view is that if we lose big or win big then it's a big deal. If we win by a little then that's OK. If we lose a close one and win the rest of our games we could easily be a top 4 seed in the playoffs, but the margin for error would be significantly narrower.
Griz-Scats is always a big deal and will be as important or more important than this game.
Our position as the historical flagship football program of the BSC, means that we will always be a big target of our opponent and a way for them to measure how good their team can be.

The past few years have really dented that position. But łooking through my rose colored glasses, I see this year as the beginning of Hauck reestablishing the Griz as one of the elite programs in FCS

Great job Colter. The analysis of the bobcats was interesting (there are more things to fix than I realized), and the Troy Taylor interview was excellent.

And = I am very Appreciative that you mentioned the Sac State defensive secondary playing lots of man-coverage in your interview with Toure. That provided a bit of extra hope that Sneed can scramble for yardage and the Griz receivers can win 1-on-1 match-ups.

Seems like it was a perfect bye week! We shall see on Saturday, but an extra week to prepare for this hot Sac St team came at the right time.

Hope to have a great maroon turnout tomorrow, like we usually do (or even better) in CA . Who all is planning on being there? Any organized Griz tailgate event? In the past, visitor tailgating was in (I think) lot 7.
