First Griz scrimmage: 3/31 at 7pm in Wa Griz

I agree. Move the spring game around besides Missoula. However, it really doesn't matter.. been a while since we've had a spring game where it wasn't snowing and/or windy.

The spring game is in Missoula every other year and opposite years it goes to a different location.

I think they should have the spring game in some farmer's field ala Field of Dreams. Trust me....if you build it they WILL come. Well, B Dub will no matter what.

I really liked you guys having the spring game in Helena. It was easy to see your team play and make a day trip out if it. A little Blackfoot, a little Lewis and Clark brewery. I can't hit up all the breweries in Zootown and drive away from that town.....

I like the GSA meetings with all the coaches as you are able to talk with them and learn about Griz Football, players, coaches and of course get smarter as you sip some alcohol.
Brint is the scrimmage open to all of us or do we need to be in the QB Club?

On Facebook it says it starts at 7pm https://www.facebook.com/100273803396834/photos/a.100277690063112.275.100273803396834/1027044474053091/?type=3&theater

Its all part of UMs non marketing marking plan.

Its so well done you hardly notice.

Marketing at UM, surely you jest?

I enjoyed the spring game last year in Helena, but I would sure love to see it in Great Falls! They have the Griz GSA BBQ here in May. I believe that generates quite a lot of funds, at least I am broke after it every year.

I was going to say one thing they do is the statewide tour every year. It's not a flashy speaker, but the coaches, and it brings Griz football to each GSA chapter across the state. Seems to be received really well every year.

I believe our GSA BBQ in Great Falls is one of, if not thee largest attended fund raiser in the spring. It is nice to speak with all the coaches.

It is the biggest of the spring. The Great Falls GSA made a donation of about 50 thousand dollars last year. It is coming up May 17th. Great Falls GSA is selling sponsorship's that are the majority of what we donate to the main GSA. PM me if you want a to sponsor. 300 dollars gets you 4 tickets to the event, advertising for your business at the event and printed in the athletic programs next year. We are auctioning off good stuff, but if you have stuff to donate for the auction, PM me as well and you can get an in kind donation as well. All is tax deductible. We are also doing a raffle. Prizes are a hot tub, a gift certificate to a furniture store, and a half a beef. PM me if you have any questions. I will try to get a new thread started and stickied if I can next week.

Yes, I know. They should stop doing that.

When is the scrimmage in Helena this year?

Gotta be 30 to hit that one as well, sorry.

No scrimmage in Helena this year - they're doing the spring game in Missoula this year.

I wish they would bring the spring scrimmage to Great Falls for once. The Cats have theirs here every year and I would like to show them up on this as well. The Cats have Joe Thiesman speaking at their spring classic this year.
THIS!!!! :thumb:

Coach Stitt just tweeted this, so I've updated the time:

Sweet, was able to swap work nights with another worker, and now will be able to attend the scrimmage. I hope we see some solid offense.
