First Griz game

I am UNBELIEVABLY fired up. I've followed the Griz since the late 90s, but i've never been to a game. Pretty special that my first one is the Brawl.
We're flying in from SC tomorrow and absolutely can't wait!
A couple of unsolicited hints. You absolutely must stop in at the Missoula Club for a burger and a beer. Stop by the Windermere tailgate across from the north entrance. Enjoy the experience and welcome to the club!

I spent the summer of '96 in Montana. Saw a fair bit of the state, including Missoula. Fell in love with the state. Met some Griz fans, and started cheering for the Griz as a connection to the state when I got back home to South Carolina. Been a diehard Griz fan since.
My question on rivalry week would be are you Gamecocks or Tigers.

I spent about 2 1/2 years at Fort Jackson and most of the people I knew then were obviously Gamecock fans, except for one who play QB at Furman. That is a great rivalry to be around though.

Nice! We lived in Elgin, near Columbia, for about 20 years before moving to Myrtle Beach.
My best bud did grad school at South Carolina, so I'd lean toward the Gamecocks in that rivalry

I traveled to Columbia once in 1996, the weekend Brian Ay Yat rolled Or-E-Gone State. I traveled to Coastal South Carolina and Chuck-town this spring and had wonderful shrimp-and-Grits ten different ways. Yum. I enjoyed the low-country life. Enjoy your trip to Msla and hope you have a really great Mo Club double-hot-pepper-Cheeseburger and Strawberry Milkshaker saturday.
