Fire Romo!

Did you see the look on Jerry Jones' face after the final interception? It looked like he needed another face lift. I so hate the cowboys.

It made my day.

As long as Payton fu*king Manning and the Cowboys are out of the playoffs, it's a great year in the NFL.

SH, isn't there a girl we can toss in there who's like 9 times better than romo?

I'm glad you asked, Dahlberg.

The retired starting QB for the Sacramento Sirens, Leilani Limary, was absolutely incredible. Her stats weren't all that impressive as the Sirens ran (and still run) the Wing-T with a rather large emphasis on the running game. (Even today, they still pound the ball with big poop Jennie-Ann Quan.) Leilani led the Sirens to three world titles in a row. The Sirens were fairly close to undefeated those seasons, too. They didn't start losing (or averaging less than 50 points per game, either) until after Leilani retired.

I heard a rumor in a newspaper that she's considering a comeback, but the team hasn't confirmed it yet.

She DID have a lot of help from HB/PR Julie "Wicked" Wicher, who was the first person I ever saw return two punts for TDs in the same game.

Be careful what you ask for, Dahlberg. You just might get it.

I had a good friend who played for the Santa Rosa Scorchers last year. I went to one of their games against an Arizona team, pretty impressive play, but they need to rethink a few things about the games. Musta been about 108 degrees out there that day.

That's a good point, Battle Cat. I went to a Sac Sirens-California Quakes game in Long Beach a couple of years ago and came out with a sunburn to beat the band. I had lost my Sirens hat, but after the game, a Siren was nice enough to give me her visor. I still wear it on occasion.

The next year, the Quakes got smart and rescheduled their games for the evening, I believe. However, they've got to re-think their stadium. They share it with Long Beach City College, which is only half a stadium. The seats are only on one side. What gives? I've never seen a place like that.

I don't care about Jessica-gate. Romo's playoff performance over two years is freaking atrocious. First that bobbled snap last year (QBs just do NOT blow holds) and now this bogus pick. He threw into TIGHT double coverage when he had a receiver WIDE freaking open just to the right. This QB is worthless. It's time for Romo to go. Danny White, where are you?

:protest:

Would you rather the Cowboys still have Bledsoe and not even make the playoffs? Idiot.....
BTW: TO was on the right and he was doubled. Crayton was on the left and he was doubled. Glenn was the only guy that was in single coverage.
Romo is the best quarterback the Cowboys have had since Aikman. You're an idiot if you think he needs to be fired!

Where the cr@p did I say I wanted Bledsoe, Lou? As far as I'm concerned, it was complete and utter BLASPHEMY that Bledsoe was allowed to wear the sacred #11 in Dallas. He should never have been hired, and once hired, he should have been forced to wear #13 or something.

How many times do I have to say it until it gets into your thick skull? I WANT DANNY WHITE BACK IN DALLAS!!!

Bledsoe is better than Romo.

Romo is a passing fad (no pun intended) he is nothing more than a product of great talent around him. Most QB's would succeed in that backfield.

Travis Lulay is a better QB than Brett Favre or Peyton Manning. And $4 is worth more than $6. Just my opinion...

Oh, well from reading your heading I thought it said fire Romo, not bring back Danny White. Speaking of bringing back Danny White, why the hell would a 65 year old come back to play in the NFL? Are you serious? He would break a hip on his first drop back.

Why Danny White? I would think a Cowboy fan would want a QB who won in the playoffs, maybe Staubach, Aikman, even Morton or Meredith for that matter.

Butters apparently doesn't know his history very well. White started and won a Super Bowl (vs. Denver) and won at least one playoff game three years in a row.

Check it out. To quote Kurt Angle: It's true. It's d@#$ true.

Danny White never started a Super Bowl. Roger Staubach started Super Bowl XII vs. Denver. Randy White and Harvey Martin were the MVPs.

Wow, you know jacksh*t about the Cowboys apparently...

Danny White played in the Super Bowl two times, as a punter...He had a pedestrian record of 5-5 in the playoffs, very poor when you consider the talent those teams had, including Hall-of-Famers like Tony Dorsett...

Guess you shouldn't take the words of a pretender like Kurt Angle to heart...

Maybe this will help you with your "history": http://www.knowyourdallascowboys.com/

Did I say that White started that Super Bowl at QB? I said that he STARTED it. Mr. T. of all people should have seen that. White started that SB at PUNTER. And won.

So White was 5-5 as a starting QB in the playoffs. That's a better percentage than Romo's got right about now. And one must also factor in that the defense screwed up two of those NFC title games, and the OL got him knocked out of the other, bringing in those numbnuts Gary Hogeboom at QB and Rafael Septien at punter. (Incidentally, it looked like Septien had never punted in his life as he tried to punt with the side of his foot.) Eliminate those screwups that were not White's fault, and he has a fairly decent playoff record as a QB.

And eliminate a brand new ball and a fumble by Glenn last year in the playoffs and blown punt coverage this year............and Romo would have won both of his playoff games.

BTW: 56 years old isn't any better than 65.

The sickest thing ever argued on this board is Danny White and how old he is.

No one cared when he played, why bring him up again. He was a better Arena coach than QB

Starting punter isn't quite the same thing as "starter" in the Super Bowl. It's not like he has to compete for his job on a weekly basis.
