Being ready to play has nothing to do with talent-- start the game with a delay of game and then fumble the ball. Watch the start of the game to see the emotion of Choate--its the difference. If this was Stitt or Delany people would want a change.

You mean the ones that don't think a 9 win playoff season 2 years after the previous coach hit the program low point of the past 30 years?

I consider this loss as the lowest in 30 years.

I guess you are a "beat state guy" as opposed to a "make the playoffs guy". That previous guy struggled to accomplish either.

BS. . Fire Bobby... i said it on this forum the day that he was hired that he was and still is a poser... last stint here, he inherited a sports car and drove it until the tires fell off then left. At Nevada he sucked.... now back at UM he still sucks. winning is hard when you cant inherit success!! FIRE BOBBY!!

Yeah, because over 8 years he was still being lofted up by the previous coach. SMFH.
Lol... he was you dumba$$.... the success he inherited allowed him to recruit anyone he wanted. Hell... the Griz are still overrated as a result of the pre Bobby era...

Yes. It should always be, beat the kitties and then worry about playoffs.

Ideally both, but would rather see the playoffs than beat state.

..your an idiot! He inherited nothing and it will take time to rebuild..the Cats played impressive and
Choate is in his 4th year...eventually Bobby will get us there!

Ok, why didn't they give Stitt time to rebuild under that scenario?

Well, I guess when you had regressed every year for 3 years, it doesn't look much like a rebuild is going on.

Ok, but Stitt made the playoffs and beat State his first year.

Old Bobby was 5-2 against State and made the playoffs all 7 years.

People think Bobby is back. He looks like Bobby, but that Bobby is long gone.

Yeah, not sure this makes your case.

Well, I'm no Stitt fan but he did beat the number 1 team in the country in his first game and went to the playoffs so I'm not sure regression is a good argument. By the way...he never got his ass handed to him like Hauck did today.

I just stated 100% truth. Who recruited JLM?

Mike Ferriter recruited JLM.

So you want to argue that Stitt didn't get a chance to rebuild by saying his best win was his 1st game and his best season was with the Senior class the previous coach left him. And compare this to a coach rebuilding a program because of the deficient upper classes left by Stitt, and a second season with mostly kids that he brought in, won more games than Stitt did in any season. And, to put the cherry on it, you want to praise him for a single walk-on that he didn't even think was worth a scholarship. Sound argument.

Rebuild what? Stitt damaged the program’s fabric. I liked Stitt but he believed recruiting nothing but receivers was the magic potion. He basically did away with tight ends and fullbacks and many of the Griz’s shortcomings today are related to Stitt’s recruiting philosophy. I say next year Hauck’s efforts will take the team another step up.

Before you post, figure out who is saying what.

You can always make the case that the current coach has to deal with leftovers, unless they cut every single player and start from scratch, which has never happened, unless you can point it out, which makes that a non subject.

Then you have Bobby, who brings the SAFETIES up to the line constantly. Guess who took advantage of that?

It doesn't matter if Bobby is a secret genius, with his incapability of either coaching the D or finding someone that can, he has to take the blame.

Calm the hell down: Shit happens. the bobcats just happened to be on a roll. Don't get me wrong as i have hated them for 62 years. This kinda stuff happens to all teams. That is why it is called upsets..Go Griz, keep your dobber up. Looking forward to the play-offs,

I remember seeing us stack the box a whole lot in the second half, only to get gashed on the jet sweep/reverse.
