Calling for Bobby's firing is understandable after a season with two-losses to a rivalry, but it's crazy IMHO. Does anyone here think that you could get a coach that would have a better W/L record? HUGE crap shoot with a high probability of going the wrong direction. If he's over 20% loss/yr after 2 or 3 years, maybe then.

You’re totally full of shit and completely transparent in advocating for Bobby and you know it. So just stop. As a Cat fan, you absolutely LOVE the results on Bobby’s watch. Of course you wouldn’t want us to actually roll the dice and risk improvement.

If Griz go 0-12 you know we would get a new coach. With that comes hope for a better result. Right now I have no hope next year will be any better than this year. Bobby is old and not hungry and thats not going to change. When you age testosterone decreases and so does your competitive juices.

Steve Belles won the chipper 5 times at Hamilton High School in Chandler Arizona. That’s more times than Bobby has lost the chipper. He isn’t allowed to coach high school ball in Arizona anymore due to a hazing scandal but I don’t think there are any restrictions on him coaching college football in Montana.

Therein lies the difference between the two teams. The cats recruit high school players, put them through a robust strength and conditioning program where they get huge. It is a systematic approach that is obviously working. The Griz are rolling the dice each year. Really wish they would bite the bullet and go the high school recruit route.

A lot of the all time best Griz lineman such as JD Quinn and Levi Horn were transfers. I can’t think of a lot of Montana high school kids on the offensive line that the Griz developed into NFL level guys.
