We will be recording Tuesday night. If you have any questions for us please leave them here and we will get to them. Thanks and Go Griz!!!

I’m still waiting for a Marcus Knight breakout game. However, it seems that the backs are splitting carries this season, which I believe to be a good thing. Do you think him, or any of the running backs get a 100+ yard game this season?

Love the question. We will get to this one. Thanks again for asking questions. We hope to get this podcast even bigger and better. If you want to hear something let us know. Thanks again. Go Griz!

I know I might be wrong, and I don’t know the stats, but Xavier Harris seems to be running with the most urgency so far. It seems like he hits the hole or finds it better than Knight at this point. I know Knight has been filtering in, but have you seen the uptick in energy with the way Harris runs like I’m thinking I do?

Valid point. Knight seems to be running cautiously at the moment. You’re totally right though, I do think Harris is running more urgently. I think we will probably see some games within the next few weeks where the coaches “ride the hot hand” and give carries to the player who is running better in that particular game. I could see both players having a breakout game, but I think you make a good point that the player most likely to do that right now is Harris. It’s nice to have a stacked backfield again!

I got to be honest, I am not seeing that at all. No one has really gotten the ball enough to even come close to seeing a huge variable in "urgency." In fact, Knight had a really nice carry in one of the first two games and nice cut to run to a wide open space for a touchdown. His running through the tackles is much harder than I have seen from either Harris or Ostmo. I do agree that they all three look just fine. I have noticed that the other teams focus more on Knight when he is in. This has caused the RPO situations to really open up. . .like on Groseman's TD and a couple of runs where the QB pulled the ball and ran himself. The entire defense followed Knight. Overall, I would say Knight is running harder and making more with less on the occasions I have watched. Ostmo did not get in from the one yard line. I think it is safe to say that Knight makes a living scoring in the red zone. All good things to talk about and think about. We have a blessing of good running back talent similar to what they had in 2019 with Knight, Ostmo, and Eastwood. Things went pretty well from a running perspective that year for sure. I would expect Knight to be even better now, once he gets his opportunities and gets even more comfortable with the new QB and O-Line.
