Fife...

Tried to be nice, but since you replied to my post and I didn't reply to yours, nobody ran off anyone. The guy who put out on social media that he was leaving should have come to the sidelines and said, 'yes coach' and then sit his ass on the bench rather than make a spectacle of himself. If he couldn't take a little discipline, good riddance, we don't need him.
You want to be a fan of that, go cheer on the losers he joined and pity the fool all you want.
We have seen that show and the mess that it was last year. He was part of the problem, and we have a solution in three quarterbacks on the roster that are better than that option.

Wilson has been hurt and only played in 2 games. Against Iowa State:

"Wilson, who has also dealt with injuries, finished with three tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks [the only 2 for AZ] and one pass breakup on Saturday. In the only game he recorded stats, Wilson had six tackles and 1.0 TFL in a 48-3 win over Weber State earlier this month.

Saturday was a tough loss, but with 1-3 Oklahoma State coming to Tucson next week, Brent Brennan and his staff can build on the positives from Saturday and look at the video to correct what went wrong in the loss to Iowa State who looks like the best team in the Big XII.

Playing at Iowa State was likely the toughest game for Arizona this season. Hutson, Mahdi and Wilson will be key players for Arizona for the rest of the 2025 season. Hutson should be the Arizona leading receiver, Mahdi the leading rusher and Wilson could finish 2025 as the sack leader for the Wildcats."

Riley Wilson has made a crazy impact on a per-play basis this season.

Scottre Humphrey, the former Cat, is 47-263/3 for New Mexico. He's their leading rusher. Was 18-141 against Idaho St.

Fife, for New Mexico ST, is. 98-172 passing (57%) and 45 for 2 yards rushing. 6 passing TD's and 4 picks. Their 3 homes games have averaged about 10,000 in attendance.

I don't see Henry Nuce on the New Mexico St football roster. I thought he transferred there.

Racanelli has 1 reception in 4 games at Wake Forest. 11th leading receiver.

Jackson has 1 tackle in 2 games for Ohio University.

I understand Fife leaving, and Wilson had good talent, but why do these other guys do such stupid things?

I thought that Nuce had retired from Football?

I’m happy for him and I’m also glad he isn’t here this year.

Go damn Griz
I wish he was here. I'm not sure anything would have changed with the way Bobby handled giving the reins to AY, and in our current situation we know little to NOTHING about what's behind Ah Yat if he goes down.

Maybe you are thinking of Kale Edwards. Can’t remember where he transferred.
He also went to NMSU.

2024 (Senior)
Appeared in and started all 12 games in his lone season with the Aggies… Finished the year with 35 total tackles, including 19 solo tackles… Ranked second on the team in sacks with 4.0… All four sacks came in came in the Aggies’ overtime win against LA Tech on Oct. 15… His four-sack game was tied for the most sacks by an individual in a single game at the FBS level during the 2024 season… His sack total against LA Tech combined with a career-high seven total tackles propelled him to earn CUSA Defensive Player of the Week honors… Had five or more tackles in four games… Logged five solo tackles, including one tackle for loss, and two quarterback hurries against Sam Houston on Sept. 21… Posted three tackles and one tackle for loss against FIU on Oct. 29.

Maybe I'm overthinking it, but you wish he were in Missoula under what circumstances exactly? I guess if Fife could have been more humble and made up with Bobby he might have been able to stick it out another year but I'm not sure that would have been workable at all. I'm not really disagreeing with you that it would be nice to have a more known quantity at backup QB, at the same time however, after what we saw on the field between him and Bobby, I don't think Fife would have worked out in the long run anyway.

I guess that's a long way of saying that their personalities were oil and water and Fife is just not the right kind of guy to play under Bobby. It would be great to have somebody with Fife's experience backing up KAY though, just not him particularly.
