My concern is how the coaching staff handled the QB situation this year will keep many quality players from even considering coming here. I want to be proven wrong, I really do but they seem fixated in AhYat.

Maybe we'll get lucky and Coach Pease will also hit the transfer portal!!

Logan’s fumble in overtime vs Weber State was a difference-maker in determining whether or not we got a 1st-round bye. Wasn’t the only fumble he coughed up this season. And I’ll also mention that QB fumbles are worse than QB interceptions.

It was a crap play, but I’m more inclined to give Fife a pass on that one. His O-Line completely whiffed on the d-end giving him a clean shot at Fife’s blind side. That game was decided by an acute lack of defense.

I think it's a virtual certainty that they'll bring in a transfer, just depends on who and how good they are.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t think that Fife really was that much of a better QB than Ah Yat. Even if Fife got more playing time, I don’t think it changes the outcome of this season. I didn’t see much consistency. The games where he did play full games, he was either on, or very off. His ball security was also lacking as well. So I guess I just find it funny how everyone is so upset about him going into the portal when he wasn’t that much of an upgrade from Ah Yat.
