Ferris State is MASSIVE. And young. Both sides of the ball. They return several starters on the O and D lines next year. 24 RETURNING O-linemen. When was the last time we even had 24 on the roster? Watching their game against West Florida right now and they are having their way with them. They avenged their only loss of the season to Grand Valley State in the playoffs. This team ain’t gonna be a pushover, even for a good Griz team.
Oh, and one other little bit of irony: They’re taking on Bob Stitt’s old team, Colorado School of Mines, for the D-2 Championship this weekend….

One final takeaway: there is a LOT of beef coming out of Michigan that’s not being scooped up by MSU and Michigan or the directional schools. Can’t help but think some of these guys could have helped us.
