Everyone hates the ncaa, and for good reason. I can see how the ncaa is going to continue to lose antitrust cases.
Nevertheless, I don't think this result is good for college athletics as a whole.
College sports, especially the transfer portal/no-sit rule and NIL, are out of control. Who knows where it will go or end.
College athletics is already being hurt in many respects. But, in the end, I assume college athletics will still be around, and will work. At least, in some fashion.
Talk about haves, and have nots.
Could minor league "college" football and basketball ever work? Would people be interested in that, and pay for it? Or does college-age football and basketball (maybe hockey too) have to be through college associations to keep it popular?
