FCS writer Brian McLaughlin passes away

RIP Brian - there aren't many national FCS writers out there and his loss will be noticed. He wrote a lot for Hero Sports and did a lot of FCS based collaborative stuff all over the country. He was a funny dude on twitter and would engage well with fans and always enjoyed civil debate on his hot takes.

Bummer. I had a decent amount of back and forth with him on twitter over the last few years. When I’d take him to task over what I thought was a bad take he would always rise to the occasion and banter with me. He was definitely one of the better ones we had in the FCS for coverage. RIP Brian
