JJ isn't gonna have time to throw the ball.. brand new OL vs. a seasoned Wyoming DL. Both Wyoming 3rd stringers have played in games.

2012: vs Cal Poly - L 24-22
2011: vs Weber State - W 35-32 (Winning touchdown in final 22 seconds)
2010: vs Southern Utah - W 28-20
2009: vs Weber State - W 29-22
2008: vs North Dakota State - W 16-13
2004: vs Appalachian State - W 53-7
2003: vs Montana State - W 21-10

Wyoming has struggled against a few other Big Sky Teams to start out each season. I think we have a good shot at taking down Wyoming. It'll be a close game win or lose.

I think they only team that made the playoffs that they played in the same year was Cal Poly and they (CP) had a very stout D in 2012. The Griz have a legit shot at this. I'm going with a 35-32 Griz win.

Weber State made the playoffs in 2009, and got curbstomped by William & Mary in rnd 1.

Wyoming seems to have a history in the last ten years or so of struggling with FCS opponents. Without Smith and Herron, that offense will be hurting. Not saying Montana will win, but I won't be shocked if Bohl gets Bohl'd in his opener.

They've only played 6 FCS teams in the last 10 years, only one they didn't put away was Cal Poly, which was without Smith and a bad QB making his first start. Offense will be fine, they return a terrific group of receivers, plus a couple of good running backs. As long as whomever is starting at QB can limit the turnovers the offense will be okay.

True. But... Weber came within 8 points of beating an FBS team.

And CP was a solid playoff team in 2012. I think the QB situation at UW is going to be extremely critical in this game. First game of the season, almost completely overhauled team. I guess we'll know more in 48 days.
