Bison arent quite what they were. End is nearing

Love how everyone keeps saying that. I’ve heard it for years and they just keep winning and winning and winning. National championships, conference championships, wins over ranked teams, wins over FBS teams etc etc.

But yet they aren’t quite what they were lol. Winning streak now at 29 games in a row.

Squeaked out a win against a true fresh QB. Sure you had cheeks clenched. Bust on defense on 4th and inches was difference. Nothing is forever.

NDSU is a far less experienced team overall. 7 points taken off the board on a very bad offensive pass interference call earlier.

Either way, they went into a tough atmosphere and won. Good teams find a way to win games.

Yep, nothing lasts forever, but this team has an incredibly bright future ahead.

I detest Vegas. Vegas is an ugly cesspool that I hate visiting when forced to because of work conferences. And warm weather is for pansies.

And yet...

I totally agree that the future Raiders facility would be a far better location for the game than goddamned Frisco or anywhere east.

Personally, I’d like to see it in Denver. Yes, in January.

Or for those who would prefer comfy climes, Minneapolis in US Bank Stadium.

But LV gets it away from the South and the East, has cheaper flights and gets some people all atwitter, and I’d love to see that happen.

Now the next step is to move it out of Frisco!

It would be cool for them to have it in Vegas when the Raiders stadium open up or another warm climate destination.

This is maybe the smartest thing I have ever read on this board.

It would be absoultly epic if the title game was in Vegas.

It’s a two-night town, for sure. I once stayed three nights and almost didn’t make it out. Lot of pros on the Friday morning LAX—>LAS and the Sunday afternoon LAS—>LAX.

Boy, sometimes I do, for sure. COL, could probably retire earlier, and not to get political, but it’s probably a bit closer to where I fall on that stuff. When we go up to visit in the summer, we think “what are we doing living where we live?” Then, we come up for Xmas and can’t wait to get home. I didn’t grow up caring about weather and lifestyle, and I never thought I would. But it happened somewhere along the way. I guess it’s impossible to explain to someone who hasn’t lived in both climates. A visit or vacation is one thing, but it doesn’t get one to appreciate it on an every day basis. Also, anywhere inland is too hot, so I’m with you there. Fuck that.

Anyway, the extended family is coming down for Thanksgiving, and that’s why I was asking about the aAaTurducken. It’s our first time hosting in the new house. I wouldn’t call it high stakes because it’s family, but I don’t want to mess something up for 17 people, you know?

Butters, quick follow up on the Turducken thing: if I decide to go that route, how would you recommend I cook it? I have the oven (of course), a gas grill, a Cookshack, and a basic Weber kettle. I don’t want to be babysitting it all day, but it would give me a reason to be outside so someone else would have to make most of the sides (which I find boring). So, the obvious answer is Cookshack, but would a smoked Turducken be a bit much flavor wise? Thanks in advance, Butters.
