By all means, talk about who you think will be good, who won’t be, and why.bgbigdog said:uofmman1122 said:This is pointless because we have no idea how good teams are going to be this year.
Tell me about it. I'd put it right up there with the preseason conference, national rankings and the best players to wear a given number. Much prefer to read the muddled meanderings of a third, colters opinion of loser griz fans, and all the legal and policy expert bozeman trolls here.

Putting a ranking on SOS without any context before the season starts is not that.
Oh, for sure. It’s always interesting to see how the national perception of teams at the beginning of the year stacks up with how they finish. Hell, I thought going into last year that our schedule would be fairly typical and not some grueling gauntlet lolbgbigdog said:uofmman1122 said:By all means, talk about who you think will be good, who won’t be, and why.

Sorry. Bad attempt at sarcasm. I'd much rather see this kind of stuff, than a lot of what we've had to talk about lately. At least it's football related. I get that it's as wild assed a guess as you can get, but C'Mon, would you rather have this or thirty thousand posts of the drunken brawl known as bozeman?

I think to say we have the “31st strongest SOS” is just tossing darts at a board, though. For all we know, NAU and EWU are the teams to beat in the Big Sky this year.
