Well, it's one game. Still a long way to go, but it's a good start.
This.

AZDoc said:Nothing wrong with this. Should win again this week, then big game on the road. A 3-0 start I thought might get to 15. Part of the surprise is the ridiculousness that was the losses throughout the FCS top 25.
That's why the preseason polls are not to be taken too seriously. Still, 8 of the 15 losses in the top-25 were to FBS opponents ... and some of those losses were not that bad (others were really uglyAZDoc said:Nothing wrong with this. But all of the other losses were ranked teams losing to lower-ranked or unranked teams. To me, the big disconnects were #7 New Hampshire getting bombed at unranked Maine, 35-7, #15 Delaware losing at home to (usually) pitiful Rhode Island, and Youngstown State losing at home to Butler (out of the non-scholarship Pioneer League).
Agreed. :thumb:AZDoc said:Agreed on those 3. The YSU one to me was the most crazy. 3 weeks is a good barometer to see what we really have going on.IdaGriz01 said:That's why the preseason polls are not to be taken too seriously. If Stitt was so good, he would have a coaching job.AZGrizFan said:Yukon said:grizare#1 said:I think Bobby ball is highly respected.
I doubt that win under Stit would have jumped us as much
Would have been a loss.
You mean like we lost to them on the road under Stitt in 2016?
Yet he DID beat this same team. Just stating facts.kemajic said:If Stitt was so good, he would have a coaching job.AZGrizFan said:Yukon said:grizare#1 said:I think Bobby ball is highly respected.

Agreed. The current ranking is out of respect for what Bobby did in his first rodeo, but premature at this point.
