We'll find out how good the UNI defense is this weekend when they play EWU! I have a feeling they'll be the toughest defense the Big Sky may face this year. Look out Eagles!

Totally agree! The obsession with Montana State U demonstrated non stop on this board is degrading to UM fans. Yeah, it is a "rivalry" between small colleges, but it is too lopsided to maintain the kind of narrative associated with it. Idaho is a rival. EWU is becoming a mainstay rival...MSU is just another traditional game and as near a UM win as any game they schedule.

BS; who's doing the twisting? Bryant won a nail-biter 26-24, so try to keep the facts straight. SFU finished 6-4, playing Duquesne the last game for the NEC championship and losing. Meanwhile, Bryant finished 5-6.

Western Illinois in the top 15 is quite a feat. Their coach bails last year for South Dakota because of the fiscal chaos in Macomb. Bring in a new coach & staff, remember Ash interviewing and withdrawing his name from consideration, swap out offenses completely, replace much of the defense & they're way better than the 2015 group. They may have the best QB & running back combos in the MVC & I'd bet they make some noise in the conference race & the tournament.

NAU really didn't collapse - Western just took over late in the 3rd, just like they did the week prior. Almost ten minutes more TOP, they just wore them out.
