I feel that Idaho State is getting a raw deal here, granted their best win is North Dakota but it bothers me to see North Dakota (who lost to Idaho State) is getting 154 more votes than the Bungles. And I'm not even a fan of Idaho State.

Plus as much as it pains me to say this, UC Davis should be the highest ranked Big Sky team. I really wish Weber had them on their schedule this year.

Agree with all of this.

The pollsters always do some weird stuff, although there were no big surprises in the poll this week. Most of the losers dropped about as much as you’d expect, given the results from Saturday. So Central Arkansas dropped six (to #19) after losing at McNeese. I might have guessed maybe #18 or even #17 because they only lost by 2 points … but the pollsters never cut the Southland any slack. North Dakota dropped out of the top-25, but just barely, after their close lost to Weber, which is what I would have guessed.

Stony Brook gave James Madison a Hell of a tussle at JMU (lost by a FG), so they only dropped one spot. That’s fair, I think.

Last but not least, Northern Iowa dropped out of the top-25 … although they still got a lot of votes. In fact, they got about eight time more votes than the team they lost to (Western Illinois), even though both have 4-4 records. :wtf:
