Who had this as a litmus test going into the season. I think Davis wins this one running away. Especially with their QB.

It will be interesting. I have watched MSU a few times this year and I cannot figure out what they really have going on. Who have they really played? NAU!! SDSU appears to be improving, but are they a very good team? I don’t think the Cats O line is as good as past years. Their QB is decent and was a good addition. Their running backs are not all world and I would take the Griz running backs every single day of the week over MSU’s. Mellott and 2024’s line were a force to be reckoned with and the runnings back benefited from it. MSU’s defense appears to be fairly stout. I think their Achilles is going to be the secondary. Glad the Griz at home for The Brawl.

I've watched most of the cat games this year. They looked awful against Oregon. Primarily because the Duck are good and the cats were not. Then they were extremely sloppy against So. Dakota St. In fact, neither the Bunnies nor them looked like a top ten team that day. Though the outcome was close Bozeman State was fortunate it wasn't a worse loss. Since then, they have shown real improvements except the Mercyhurst game. I also agree their QB this year gives them a legit passing threat. That helps their cause.

Despite cat Troll's protests, in general their running game has been anemic this year. That may be changing. In the Idaho St. game, their O line looked much improved. They consistently blew open nice holes. That is something they were not consistently doing before. It explains why their supposed all-world Adam Jones finally gained some yards. Fact, this year's line is a down grade from last year's. Yet the loss of Tommy's feet has been the true Achilles Heel in their running game. Not accounting for him is a tremendous advantage for the opposing defenses and it exposed Jones and Davis as just the moderately good backs they are.

I'm not sure about UC Davis, otherwise msu should run the table prior to playing the Griz. If our guys take care of business too, that game should set us up for an excellent seed in the playoffs.

We will see how good UCD is this week when they play Northern Colorado.

I thought beating #14 NAU by 21 was a pretty good litmus test.

Key injuries on the Davis defense is a big issue for the final part of the season. Going to be hard to keep UNC, ISU, Idaho, MSU, and Sac under 40 points.

I thought for sure the Griz would get knocked down a spot or two, I'm happy to be wrong!!

We actually had one more point in the poll this week over last, 1222 this, 1221 last.
NDSU gained one 1399/1398, SDSU stayed the same at 1340
Bozeman lost a point 1207/1208

You could be right. NAU continues to be mediocre and not sure what to think about them.
