With six ranked teams losing, there will be another shakeup in the next STATS poll. However, since four of the losses were to other ranked teams, most of the drops won’t be as much as they might otherwise. So the only team that dropped out was Villanova, which was already way down and lost to an unranked team. I’m not too sure about replacing them with Charleston Southern, but with New Hampshire losing, CS was the top among the “Others receiving votes.”

With #16 and #18 losing, the Griz should move up two spots. And, with #20 also losing, the kitties might just move up three. However, all things considered, I won’t be surprised if UNI bumps them down to #19. (Even with their losing record, the pollsters seem to love Northern Iowa.)

Big weekend coming up... lots of good/great games!
Yep. By my count, there are six games between ranked teams -- one Friday evening and the rest on Saturday. Their exact poll ranks will get shuffled tomorrow, but most will almost certainly still be ranked somewhere in the top-25. And if I'm right that Charleston Southern moves into the top-25, that will add a seventh ranked-vs-ranked game: #2 Coastal Carolina will be at Charleston Southern.

Another game that should be good is Western Carolina (5-2) at #5 Chattanooga. ('Nooga will almost certainly be #4 by then.) W. Carolina will be desperate for a win so they don't fall two games behind. (Chattie and The Citadel are undefeated in conference.)
