... Furman will clinch the Southern Conference title and an automatic bid to the FCS playoffs with a win. Wofford will move into first place with a victory, but it still has another conference game remaining at The Citadel on Nov. 23. So if Wofford wins (Haley is picking Furman), Furman falls into two-loss tie with the winner of the upcoming Citadel - Chattie game. Then, if Wofford loses at The Citadel, they would also have two losses ... and God knows how the tie-breaker falls out.

In other words, it's no more cut-and-dried than how the Big Sky could play out. But the "game of the week" is #21 vs #9, rather than #5 vs #3. :?

Some of you fools will be watching the boring Griz vs Weber game, and I’ll be sitting on the edge of my seat watching Hulu and the excitement of the Paladins and the Terriers! This promises to be an exciting match up of about 250 yards of total offense! I’ve had this circled on the schedule since the beginning of the decade! I posted the numbers on the Dante Olson 120 tackles thread ... when I saw that idiot post. http://www.fcs.football/cfb/story.asp?i ... 4290499904

Being #4 in Sacks in FCS (he [Sterk] is now credited with 11) is certainly a worthy accomplishment, and a big help to his team.

But apparently, leading all of FCS in number of tackles and being second in tackles per game (the #1 guy has played 9 games rather than 10) ... is unworthy of even a passing mention.

Also, I got to wondering. Dante's 120 tackles ties him for third in all of D-I football. The two top FBS guys are at 137 and 127.
